I hold end-to-end ownership of the network, data centre, server and enterprise application estate for a regional trading group operating across the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain. I set the architecture standards, run the OEM and vendor relationships across Cisco, Huawei, Aruba, Meraki, Fortinet, Sophos, Microsoft and SAP, lead the migration and rollout programmes, and carry final escalation on every P1. Before this: carrier and managed-service networking at BSNL, RF and machine-learning research at IIT Patna, and enterprise security integration. Nothing reaches a live network until it has been proven in a production-grade lab.

  • Run the Fortinet FortiGate and Sophos XGS firewall estate — policy design, NAT, IPsec site-to-site VPN, SSL VPN, IDS/IPS, network segmentation and ZTNA protecting inter-branch and remote access across three countries.
  • Operate server room and data centre infrastructure end to end: Dell PowerEdge rack-and-stack, iDRAC, RAID, structured cabling, power distribution, UPS, cooling and environmental controls, plus physical capacity planning for branch expansion.
  • Administer Windows Server and Linux estates — Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file and storage services on NAS/SAN — virtualised across VMware vSphere, Hyper-V and Proxmox VE.
  • Own backup, disaster recovery and business continuity on Veeam Backup & Replication, including restore verification testing and DR runbook maintenance.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration management with Ansible and Terraform, replacing manual builds with repeatable, version-controlled deployments in Git.
  • Deploy and operate containerised workloads on Docker and Kubernetes — cluster provisioning, service exposure, persistent storage and self-healing.
  • Run proactive monitoring and observability with Zabbix, SolarWinds, Grafana and Dynatrace over SNMP, NetFlow and Syslog, with Wireshark packet analysis for deep fault diagnosis.
  • Lead ITIL-aligned service delivery across ServiceNow, ManageEngine and Jira — incident, problem and change management, SLA governance, CMDB accuracy and knowledge-base ownership.
  • Own infrastructure for SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business One — server and HANA database availability, performance tuning, integration support and direct escalation to SAP partners.
  • Deliver the Power BI to SAP HANA reporting pipeline used by leadership for sales, inventory, finance and ageing analysis.
  • Administer the Microsoft 365 tenant — identity and access management, conditional access, licensing, endpoint connectivity and enterprise mail flow — plus Docuware DMS and UAE e-invoicing platform integrations.
